Overview
A wishlist PWA with social mechanics — designed and built full-stack. Wizzly lets people collect gift ideas, share lists, reserve gifts so nobody buys duplicates, and run Secret Santa, across the web and a Telegram Mini App.
The challenge
Gifting between friends is uncoordinated: wishlists are scattered, people buy the same present twice, and organizing a Secret Santa with budgets and deadlines is a manual mess.
It also had to live where people already are — the web, a Telegram Mini App, and mobile — and handle the real-time, social-graph side: friends, shared visibility, and who-reserved-what.
The approach
A PWA and Telegram Mini App on a clean-architecture Go backend (repository / service / transport layers, JWT, background workers). Gift reservation prevents duplicates, and a Secret Santa generator pairs participants with budgets and deadlines.
A Telegram bot parses marketplace links straight into wishlist items and sends notifications; sign-in works through Telegram, Google and Apple; the whole product is trilingual (EN / RU / HY) and wrapped in a liquid-glass, dark, bento-grid UI.
